34-year-old self-made Millionaire-Here's How
In 2010, 24-year-old Grant Sabatier had just moved back in with his parents after bouncing from job to job and then getting laid off in the midst of the recession. With less than $5 to his name and only three months to find his own place, Sabatier knew he needed to get his finances back on track. His wake-up call came on the morning of August 24th when he wanted a Chipotle burrito for lunch. “I only had $2.26 in my bank account — not even enough to buy a side of guacamole,” says the Millennial Money founder and author of “Financial Freedom: A Proven Path to All the Money You Will Ever Need.”https://www.cnbc.com/2018/12/14/grant-sabatier-of-millennial-money-how-to-retire-in-10-years-or-less.html?__source=facebook%7Cmain&fbclid=IwAR2AtL_eYP-4gWnG27UN7Krwv8WF64WF4XyP_9bdIP7ty0kqn5lX11DgJ18

Equal pay day: How do we close the gender pay gap?
Equal Pay Day in the US is on 2 April. The date symbolises how far into the new year an American woman must work to earn the same as a man made in the previous year. While the US has banned unequal pay for equal work since 1963, on average women continue to earn about 80% of the amount paid to men. Asian women fare slightly better, but for black and Hispanic women the gap in earnings is even wider, according to government data. Advocates for equal pay call for systemic legislative changes to address the disparity, and highlight issues such parental leave and childcare costs as areas in need of reform. But what are some of the other solutions put forward?https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-47753007?ocid=socialflow_facebook&ns_campaign=bbcnews&ns_mchannel=social&ns_source=facebook&fbclid=IwAR3lVS9tV2TPC4haM5-AcxDRN8HRUbcI0JwdOv3E2hzko_RkEjeE1VzDrO4

Why I got strict about a 7pm bedtime for my kids
Before kids, I considered myself a morning person. I loved waking up, enjoying a warm cup of coffee and reading. It was both relaxing and energizing for me. It was when I felt most alive. After our first child was born, I quickly realized that I'm more of a mid-morning person. Wake-up calls at 5:30am did not make me feel alive. First, we started putting our kids consistently to bed at 7pm. They actually slept in longer when we put them to bed earlier! We also felt a little bit of freedom again. We could spend time together as a couple before hitting the pillow exhausted with no one-on-one time. It was exactly what our family needed. We realized that all of us did better with a structured sleep schedule. By setting a bedtime at 7pm it allowed us to create sleep boundaries in our house.

Michelle Obama told she wasn't 'Princeton material
Michelle Obama writes in her new memoir, "Becoming," that one of the most pivotal moments in her life was when a college counselor told her she wasn't "Princeton material." The future first lady decided to disregard the counselor's opinion and apply anyway. And she got in. When she started at Princeton, she says she learned that she was just as smart as everyone else, despite what she had been led to believe.https://www.businessinsider.com/michelle-obama-wasnt-princeton-material-college-counselor-told-her-2018-11?utm_content=bufferb5e98&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_campaign=buffer-style&fbclid=IwAR0ztWidvX37lm5V4HR-xiX4RakW6Td9YoXkaYekl0aDtjetZdcZMxmI0nw
