Google CEO: YouTube is too big to fix completely
Google CEO Sundar Pichai says YouTube is too big to completely fix the site’s problems with harmful content. YouTube, which is owned by Google, has come under fire in the last couple of years, as content ranging from deniers of the Sandy Hook massacre to supremacist content has continued to show up on the site despite the company’s attempts to filter it out.https://www.cnbc.com/2019/06/17/google-ceo-sundar-pichai-youtube-is-too-big-to-fix.html?__source=facebook%7Cmain&fbclid=IwAR1107nh1MLyQyaprEURGpUa6dmr4dXFHiBiAqG6jdG7o_bqhOcQs7MzztU

New York ends religious exemptions for Vaccines
Amid an ongoing measles outbreak, New York is requiring schoolchildren to be vaccinated, even if parents have religious objections. Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed legislation Thursday that removes nonmedical exemptions from school vaccination requirements. The law goes into effect immediately, his office said. The move, which comes despite opposition from anti-vaccination activists and religious freedom advocates, puts New York alongside other states that do not allow nonmedical exemptions: California, Mississippi, West Virginia and Maine. https://edition.cnn.com/2019/06/13/health/new-york-vaccine-exemption-law-bn/index.html?utm_source=fbCNN&utm_medium=social&utm_content=2019-06-13T23%3A45%3A13&utm_term=link&fbclid=IwAR3zJlK2vbfUZj8xs-TkgVEv3_Fuk9ht0gHzxMZ97-yyornDH8FESJ73fIg

Theresa May Announces She Will Resign On 7 June
Theresa May has bowed to intense pressure from her own party and named 7 June as the day she will step aside as Conservative leader, drawing her turbulent three-year premiership to a close. Speaking in Downing Street, May said it had been “the honour of my life” to serve as Britain’s second female prime minister. Her voice breaking, she said she would leave “with no ill will, but with enormous and enduring gratitude to have had the opportunity to serve the country I love”. Bill and Melinda Gates Wash Dishes Together
It's no secret that marriage takes a lot of work. A marriage is a partnership - it's two people coming together and choosing each other every single day. That sounds hard and daunting - but also rewarding. There are a ton of books, blogs, and websites about sustaining a healthy marriage. There are therapy sessions and communication tools and, and, and. It can feel overwhelming. How does anybody have a long-lasting, healthy, love-filled marriage? Especially in 2019, when distraction is perhaps at its peak. It was probably easier to give your spouse attention when you both didn't have smartphones and social media.https://twentytwowords.com/billionaires-bill-and-melinda-gates-wash-dishes-together-every-night-to-help-their-marriage/?utm_content=buffer24c50&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook&utm_campaign=hh&fbclid=IwAR1qGznL0G4uSYP41YVuPg3o_ui2wRNuKb66LB3Xbs3BPllIgTIfbR4_5h0

Denmark: A best place to work in the world
Denmark may be the birthplace of the Lego tower, but its workplace hierarchy is the flattest in the world. According to the World Economic Forum’s Global Competitiveness Report 2018, the nation tops an index measuring “willingness to delegate authority” at work, beating 139 other countries. This will come as no surprise to foreign workers who can find the country's egalitarian approach a culture shock. "People relate to one another as equals regardless of job titles and formal positions," notes the University of Southern Denmark in an article explaining the country's working culture. "Many workplaces have what resembles a flat management hierarchy, which means it is more than normal to take up issues directly with the CEO. It is allowed to contradict or criticize managers."https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2018/10/denmark-has-the-flattest-work-hierarchy-in-the-world?utm_source=Facebook%20Videos&utm_medium=Facebook%20Videos&utm_campaign=Facebook%20Video%20Blogs

This Millionaire Buried Treasure in the Mountains
Somewhere in the Rockies, in the roughly 1,000 miles between Santa Fe, New Mexico, and the Canadian border, may be a treasure chest worth millions. The man who claims to have hidden the fortune back in 2010 is Forrest Fenn, now 87, a former Vietnam fighter pilot and art dealer. Fenn estimates that as many as 350,000 people have gone hunting for the treasure, he tells CNBC Make It, adding that there is no way of knowing whether anyone has actually gotten close. "It could be found soon or 1,000 years from now," he says. "No one knows where that treasure chest is but me," Fenn told NPR in 2016. That includes his wife. "If I die tomorrow, the knowledge of that location goes in the coffin with me."https://www.cnbc.com/2018/04/17/millionaire-forrest-fenn-hid-treasure-in-the-rockies-and-left-a-clue.html
