Populists in Italy Want to Close Stores on Sundays
Since forming an uncomfortable coalition government a year ago, Italy’s conservative League and anti-establishment Five Star Movement have found themselves at odds on everything from infrastructure and immigration to regulations on prostitution. There’s one thing, though, they agree on: shuttering stores on Sundays.https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-05-02/italy-populists-seek-no-shopping-sundays-to-boost-family-values?utm_content=business&utm_medium=social&cmpid=socialflow-facebook-business&utm_campaign=socialflow-organic&utm_source=facebook&fbclid=IwAR2m8LU_paDnJX4wqWB4V2E3Ny_IpvDjRkqtlNFH4Fl9iIPj1xwScqOmTzs

Would you throw a divorce party?
We have ceremonies and rituals to honor nearly all major life passages. We hold a baptism or bris on one side of life, a funeral on the other. We have birthday parties. Graduation dinners. Weddings. But there’s no official rite of passage during divorce. Until now. Increasingly, people are seeking a way to honor their marriage, even as they end it. Some people plan a public ceremony or blow-out bash, hosted alone or with their ex. Others want a private moment. Many people say taking a trip out of town was the act that let them head in a new direction when they returned home.https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/splitopia/201706/should-you-throw-divorce-party

Tony Robbins 7 Simple Steps to Financial Freedom
People make several mistakes when saving and investing for retirement, and one of the biggest ones is not getting started because they think they need a large sum of money to begin, says Tony Robbins, 54, an inspirational speaker and best-selling author. What you want is at least "a small amount of money you consistently invest," says Robbins, author of a new 656-page book, Money: Master the Game: 7 Simple Steps to Financial Freedom. It includes information from his interviews with more than 50 top financial experts including Charles Schwab, Carl Icahn, Warren Buffett, Steve Forbes, hedge fund manager Ray Dalio and Vanguard founder John Bogle. After researching the new book, Robbins developed what he calls the seven steps to financial freedom. Those are: Step 1. Make the decision to become an investor, not a consumer. Step 2. Become an insider on investing. Step 3. Make the game winnable. Step 4. Evaluate your asset allocation. Step 5. Create a lifetime income plan. Step 6. Invest like the .001%. Step 7. Just do it, enjoy it and share it.

Why we love, why we cheat
Many cheaters claim to truly love the very partner they have wronged and usually we doubt their sincerity. After all, loving someone means maintaining a certain level of trust, honor and commitment, right? Well, biological anthropologist Helen Fisher says that having an affair isn't as black and white as we'd like to believe. Fisher conducted an experiment with a team of scientists where they scanned the brains of people who were "in love." They would show subjects a neutral photo first, followed by a photo of someone that he/she loved in order to record which region of the brain became active. The results? The part of the brain responsible for governing "the reward system" would become active when a person looked at a photo of their lover. This is the same region that becomes active from things like cocaine or having an orgasm. https://www.yourtango.com/2015272080/scientific-reason-people-cheat-on-those-they-love

Power Of Conscious Awareness
In its essence, consciousness is a subtle energy field of pure potentiality where there is infinite possibility and creativity. Within consciousness, lies an informational field of feedback and awareness that gives us a sense of self. In other words, consciousness gives us the ability to observe, experience and be aware of our existence. Besides being an informational field, consciousness is also a unified field of function that expresses outward with diversity. This unified field is everywhere and in everything. That is why consciousness is one of the fundamental forces of Creation. Think of it as the intelligent energy that governs everything in the Universe and you won’t be far off. As it is made of subtle energy — the most powerful energy in the Universe — consciousness is extremely powerful. That is why nuclear weapons are so powerful since they utilized the subtle energies within atoms. https://theconsciouslife.com/power-of-consciousness.htm

Germany's the most innovative economy in the world
According to a new analysis by the World Economic Forum (WEF) from Geneva, the Federal Republic of Germany ranks first in terms of innovative capability, and thus ahead of the USA in this category. Decisive factors included the number of registered patents as well as scientific publications and customer satisfaction with German products. Innovation is one of twelve aspects the study uses to assess a country's competitiveness. These include, for example, the stability of the financial sector, the quality of education, health care, infrastructure or macroeconomic stability. Another positive factor is, that German companies rank fourth in the world when it comes to adjusting to the new, digital world. Germany ranks third overall in terms of competitiveness, behind the USA and Singapore. For the first time, Germany is thus also the most competitive economy in Europe. Switzerland, Japan, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Great Britain, Sweden and Denmark rank among the top ten. https://thegermanyeye.com/germany-most-innovative-country-worldwide-3627

Is the era of management over?
"The key to management is to get rid of the managers," advised Ricardo Semler, whose TED Talk went viral, introducing terms such as “industrial democracy” and “corporate re-engineering”. It’s important to point out that Mr. Semler isn’t an academic or an expert in management theory, he is the CEO of a successful industrial company. His views are unlikely to represent mainstream thinking on organizational design. But perhaps it is time we redefine the term “manager”, and question whether the idea of “management” as it was inherited from the industrial era, has outlived its usefulness. The World Bank estimates the size of the global workforce at about 3.5 billion people, and by no means would I expect, much less advocate, that those who are employed today will transition into a management-free structure in the near or even medium term. The vast majority of work involving human labour is still best carried out in a traditional organisational structure.https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2017/12/is-management-era-over?fbclid=IwAR2YGFFsplgdLXrBNTDuoyH5ouWcin9j3uhK0FTxgyHgpV6NSXBjqS8DmFw

Companies should focus on employee retention

Lucrative salary, comfortable timings, better ambience, growth prospects are some of the factors which prompt an employee to look for a change. What does Heaven look like?
Heaven is a real place where the people of God will live one day. In fact, heaven is where God and the angels live. John 14:1-3 even says that Jesus is in heaven preparing a place for us to live. In heaven, those saved by God will have new bodies without the curse of sin! There will be no one who is blind, deaf or lame in heaven (Isaiah 35:5-6 and Philippians 3:21). Although Jesus builds houses in heaven, the Bible also says that those saved will also build their own houses and inhabit them as well as plant and eat from vineyards (Isaiah 65:21). Most importantly God will be in heaven and He wants to be your friend. He wants to dwell with you and wipe away all your tears (Revelation 21:1-4). http://www.bibleinfo.com/en/questions/where-is-heaven

Tesla will not survive without Musk
Elon Musk has reached a deal over fraud charges that will see him step down as electric automaker Tesla’s chairman of the board for at least three years and pay a US$20 million fine. But he will stay on as CEO. The agreement eases pressure on Tesla’s embattled CEO, who faced potentially being barred from serving as an officer or board member of a publicly traded company as a result of the charges, which stemmed from a tweet by Musk about taking the company private. “The settlements, which are subject to court approval, will result in comprehensive corporate governance and other reforms at Tesla - including Musk’s removal as chairman of the Tesla board -and the payment by Musk and Tesla of financial penalties” of US$20 million each, the Securities and Exchange Commission said in a statement https://www.scmp.com/news/world/united-states-canada/article/2166334/elon-musk-removed-tesla-chairman-will-remain-ceo
