The dreaded friend-zone! More and more people in the dating world are trying to determine whether the person they are eyeing is possibly interested in them or whether they see them as ‘just a friend’. A common question a lot of people ask is whether or not it is possible to escape from or get out of the friend zone and into the romantic zone. I'm keen to hear some of your stories, let's chat about it

I have friend-zoned some of my guy friends because I really don't feel any romantic feelings toward them. I want to be just friends with them. Nothing more.

I don't want labeling things but I guess that's where I am right now. That's the energy I'm getting from her.

I was really into a guy a while back. We lived in seperate places. I intended to spend a summer holiday with him, but right before he met someone new. We hung out anyway that summer (as friends, but with chemistry we appropriately had to deny). We werent official at that point but it was disappointing. Cut ties with him for a while. But decided to be friends. We're still in seperate places and I visit his city now and again. He is always keen to see me and hang out again. But it makes me wonder if he is denying feelings for me, because in some of our communication via video and text - he is flirtatious at times. But does not display that when he is in a relationship with a girl where he stays. It seems he is managing himself, whatever that means.

Just keep away from him if you are starting to fall for him. You will only be hurt. Set a clear boundary. You don't want to be the third party.

I can say that I am in a friend zone right now because all I have is my friends and all of them are in a relationship. I am not looking for a lover anyway.
