I believe that our life experiences create emotions. Negative experiences create anger, fear, stress and powerlessness, guilt, etc. If our energy field is overflowing with negative energies it will be nearly impossible to allow the “positive” in.

My core purpose is to assist those who have a yearning for spiritual connection and expression, yet don't feel comfortable with conventional religion. Most people seek spiritual guidance because they are feeling lost and are wondering what the meaning of life is - I always look to create a safe space for each individual and provide the necessary support.

Believers must stop being so judgmental

The church is a building that people enter seeking peace, forgiveness, and a non judgment area. But Christians are labeled as one of the most judgmental groups, and even as a Christian, I can't argue against that statement. Seriously, I think making judgments is something that we all struggle with. Is it wrong? Of course. But it's human nature. To others practicing different religions, we may act like Christianity is superior to all of the other belief systems. And if they don't believe in anything at all, we may make judgments or assumptions or put labels on them. We judge the way people walk, talk, eat their food, wear their clothes, etc. We are so picky about who we hang out with because we don't want to be associated with “such a sinner.” Let's not forget that we're all sinners. A sin is a sin is a sin in God's eyes. If none of us deserve grace, then who are we to judge? (Romans 8:23 - For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God). https://www.theodysseyonline.com/christians-please-stop-being-judgmental

As believers, we are called to avoid bad behavior and in that endeavor we are supposed to judge others’ character. We carefully choose our mentors and teachers to find what God really wants of us and for us, and to protect ourselves from false teachers and leaders. It is very easy to be led up a rosy path that appeals to our base nature and ends in destruction

Why are some believers so judgmental, could it possibly be pushing people away from religion?

Most of the Christians I grew up with were quite unwittingly, but very strongly, judgemental and self righteous. It's just about impossible not to be if you’re part of that religious tradition.

Imagine that you belong to a faith system that teaches you that most humans are wrong about God and God's requirements. Imagine that you are certain that you're part of a small elect who have it right, who have God's approval.

Christians may be considered to be quite judgmental because some Christians are quite judgmental. But, others are not. It can not be truthfully said that all Christians are judgmental. As to why some are judgmental, that is probably an individual issue an a generalized statement can not be truthfully made

Apart from being judgmental, believers can so irritating because they will not keep their religion to themselves but insist on imposing it on others with a holier-than-thou attitude.

Yes! That is exactly why believers are so judgmental

I don't think I've ever met an evangelical Christian of the stripe I describe who wasn't judgemental down to the deep core of their soul.

That is a hard question, since I have been a Christian for some years and never stop being amazed at the self righteousness and judgmental attitude of some Christians. I guess that they have found a stable moral authority, something they can give them tangible structure to their behavior, and they are really excited about it.

What they need is to be taught how to be a Christian, properly, and there is very little along these lines. Some of it is out there, but many new Christians, full of zeal and excitement of their new experience, overwhelm others.

Simply put - they are often frankly trying to get brownie points from God. They want to please God, and feel that doing that will impress Him. It does not. It often leads to hypocrisy

Because they have been told their moral code is certainly right so they can judge with self assurance.
