Why fit in when you are born to stand out?

I have been the Administrator and Director of Little Star since July of 2013, but have been with this daycare since 2011 - where I began working with 4-year-olds. I have been in the Early Childhood field since 2007 and have been blessed to have had the opportunity to work with every age group. My husband and I have two young children, Leah. We are so blessed that God has chosen us to be their parents.

Why aren’t some of the CEOs and coaches named in this piece? Why just the two Hollywood women?

FBI got these clowns, but I am sure there are thousands more that went under the FBI's radar, and smiling. The rich will always win.

i do not think that these people really value the education at these institutions. they just want the name. Having attended multiple collages, i can tell you that these so called elite school are over rated. the only thing they give over other schools is the name and reputation.

Yes and there were also parents that paid that money and then plane that money that they used as a pay off on their taxes so that's even more fraught.

Rather than list the actresses charged with mail fraud, put the heat on the athletic programs with staff charged with racketeering after accepting $25 million in bribes:

Georgetown – tennis coach
USC – athletic director
USC – women’s soccer coach
USC – women’s soccer coach
USC – water polo coach
UCLA – men’s soccer head coach
Wake Forest – women’s volleyball

When I was a proctor, I once had a kid offer me $20 to let him cheat on his Spanish 101 course. I said,"no bueno," and reported him. Integrity: it doesn't take much to do what's right.

The ultimate in privilege and entitlement.
Usurp meritocracy with money.
Immoral, illegal, and really, really bad parenting. But it illustrates how when you get to top (whatever that is), it is hard to deal with regression towards the mean; so you funnel your children into your narrow vision of life and success, actually stunting them.

Maybe this scandal will knock colleges down a peg. For too long now we have suffered the arrogance of college snots who think they know how the real world works. Maybe a scandal in their little insulated world will wake them up to some basic realities in the world.
