Fundraising is a wonderful opportunity to create more good in the world, and I am always thrilled to see the projects that are created or sustained as a result.

I’ve been working for small and large charities for over 15 years, and in that time I have raised more than £5million in trust and statutory income. I am currently building partnerships in the voluntary sector to ensure their contribution is optimised and valued. Five years of charity management has equipped me with incredibly valuable experience of the joys and challenges faced by CEOs and trustees in the voluntary sector every day. I love working with small charities and admire the creativity, energy and resilience of the people who help them to thrive. I particularly enjoy building other people’s skills in fundraising, aiming to leave each organisation I work with more able and confident than they were before.

Do private schools offer better quality education?

With how expensive they are, they better be! Private schools have better technology and facilities which is great for learning.

There are standards for all schools so I think whether it be private or public, you'll still get quality education!

In India it is. The state of public education is horrible. The school conditions are terrible plus there's too much student in the class that the teacher can't get to each student.

It depends. There are places where public schools are just as good as private school. You just need to do your research.

Unfortunately, most of the school with great public school is in Europe.

No, private schools are way better. I have met a couple of kids my age at parties who go to public school and I think they're not too smart.

Private schools are better. There are lesser students, better teachers, and updated teaching methods.

I went to public school and I turned out okay. I have a good job and I make a lot so I don't think it matters where you went to school.

So did I. The only thing that private school have that's better than ours is a uniform (uniforms are ugly btw!) and maybe a well funded after-school activities center.

Well, the only difference between private schools and public schools are the tuition fees. Other than that, they teach the same thing. smiling face with smiling eyes

I think the quality of public school have severely dropped over time. I remember when I was in school, everybody went to public school. Nobody goes to private school except that ultra rich.

I agree. The curriculum is standard I believe and it really depends on the teacher. Since private school have a higher fee, they can pay the teachers more hence you're sure to get quality teachers.

I'd send my kids to private school if I had the money! The teacher-student ratio is better compared to public schools.
