I have a vault so they're perfectly safe! You'll never know when you'll need cash so at least I have them sitting at home.

Yes, I have petty cash always in my house. I use it for emergency purposes. I think it should be a must to have a cash all the time.

I surely do keep cash in my place. But that's a contingency fund only. I put my money in the bank.

I do. Every household should still keep money in the house for some reasons like having to pay unexpected service or products. There's an emergency and you don't have time to go to your bank, etc.
