Social media affects productivity. Instead of focusing on work, people end up browsing! Imagine what you could be doing with the time spent on social media!

More harm than good specially for children! Also the radiation affecting ones health is now a definite cause of cancer and tumors!

We should not blame it all to the advances of our technology. We should be disciplined and responsible enough to handle it. We are in control not them.

Thinking creatively with all the social media noise around is the equivalent of writing a dissertation in the middle of speeding traffic on a superhighway! You may get the stimulation of new ideas, but executing them becomes another matter. flushed face

We can't deny how anti-social everyone has become because of social media. sure we're living in a digital age but that shouldn't mean we should completely disregard actual human interaction

Depends how you choose to use it really. It's a great tool for connecting with long-lost friends or relatives and making new friends, business deals, etc. I love it! for me personally, it's done more good than harm

IMO, it is a great help to those who use it as a business platform and to people who want to connect with different people around the globe.

Being bitter, judgmental and jealous is a side effect of social media exposure. A friend might post a picture on Snapchat of him/her out with another one of your friends. Jealousy stirs inside of you and it leads to more harm than good.

For the younger generation, I see more harm than good. I'm not letting my kids anywhere near it.

People get so addicted to being online they prefer that to talking to people personally. People are together having dinner but everyone's on their phones!

Just like everything else it has its pros and cons, it really depends on how you use it. As for younger generations, i think it would be too brutal to prohibit kids from accessing it. Its just a matter of instilling the right amount of discipline in them.
