Life is better with a dog

I am involved in many organizations helping people, pets and nature. I can be called on the help in almost any situation. I have a special interest in senior pets and often steps in to help our clients get through tough times when pets pass away. I have a compassionate heart and care about people and their pets. He transport dogs to and from the prisons for training by the inmates. I also participate in the dog graduations and find joy in seeing the graduating dogs go home with their adopters. I keep active by walking dogs. I have great dog handling skills. While dogs are admittedly my true love, I also enjoy caring for cats and other pets in my care.

Research suggests that dogs can detect many types of cancers in humans.  Like many other diseases, cancers leave specific traces, or odor signatures, in a person's body and bodily secretions. Cancer cells, or healthy cells affected by cancer, produce and release these odor signatures.

What are your views about this? Should dogs be used to help us detect for cancer?

My daughters dog, a rottie, sniffed out my cancer. Beautiful boy sadly passed away from cancer himself some years later, truly remarkable ♥

Medical detection dogs in Buckinghamshire England. They do fantastic work, however they are trying to make an artificial nose. The dogs take a lot of training and can only work for short periods and bless their wonderful hearts, do not live forever. So with their amazing help, eventually the artificial nose that does not need a break and test 24/7 will take over. Until then these wonderful animals save lives everyday.

My Dad had a little yorkie that he said would jump on his chest and start digging as fast as she could . He ended up having an inoperable lung cancer and has passed from it. I believe it!

Wish they could say what kind and where. That could be a lot of testing to find it after!

I used to get bronchitis regularly and had many health problems and I’d go home and fall into bed and my beagle would be right there sniffing by my nose and mouth for quite awhile. They have amazing smellers!!!
