Implementing this kind of social credit score system may seem impossible to some now but as long as there are people who believe and pursue their vision...this is possible.
What can you say about this ranking system that China is trying to do with its people?
Man and what if this score affected your ability to get a loan?? Or find an apartment? Or get a job. Oh wait. That’s the American credit rating system.

As long as you pay back your credit cards. That’s all that matters. Your credit score won’t go down if you buy alcohol, cigarettes, video games, go to jail, jaywalk, criticize the government, friends with other low score people.

Credit system does not rate your political view. In China, if you criticise communist party, you are screwed.

For anyone trying to compare this with Western credit ratings and police records completely misses the point. The Chinese social index should never be compared. At the flip of a switch if you show any signs against the communist parties your life can be shut down. The levels of monitoring and control of this system is a nightmare for some.

Bank uses credit rating to determine whether or not to let you borrow its own money. China uses this system to determine how loyal you are to the Communist Party and denies your individual rights and public services based on your rating. Very different concepts.
Yeah or you are a western scientist and say that you feel women get privileged: bye-bye job as well.
