To be in your children's memories tomorrow, you have to be in their lives today.

I am a working mom of two, living in sunny Brazil. I love empowering others to be the best version of themselves and like to spend as much time as possible fulfilling that passion, which is easier said than done. I love to run and find it to be my own form of personal therapy. I often struggle with being a career mom, but I know it is the right decision for me. I used to be a middle school teacher and have never lost that itch to help others. I am constantly providing support to friends and family and I figured why not share with an even larger audience. I take a lot of pride in how I chose to raise my family. I am strong advocate of good nutrition and chose to feed my family an organic, whole foods diet. Yes, we still splurge from time to time but try to do so in moderation. I am a strong advocate of professional development and feel that you need to take time each day to build upon your current skill set. I read a lot and also enjoy listening to podcasts.

I don't smoke. They say that smoking makes you look older and it contributes to wrinkles. That's a no no for me.

I run a humidifier every night to moisturize the air in our bedroom. Not only will it ease itchy, dry skin, I am able to breathe the moist air more easily.
