An employee suggestion box is an idea! At least management would know what's lacking in the workplace.

Conduct a one-on-one review with your employees so management can focus on the individuals and their specific needs.

For a company? Loyalty is always a good one. If no one leaves your business then it means you are doing something right. grinning face with smiling eyes grinning face with smiling eyes

I don't think people will ever be satisfied with what they have. That's our nature. That's just my opinion tho.

That is so true. Once you achieve something, you want something more. It's how we grow as a person, if not, life would be boring.

IDK, surveys?

Anonymous employee surveys could do the trick. Completing regular employee surveys may sound dull but if the questions are different every round and there are incentives to those who complete them, it is common for management to enjoy a 100% response rate from their employees.

My boss always welcomes suggestions and it's pretty cool. He does surveys but he also lets us approach him if there's an idea that could improve our productivity or the working conditions.

True! Anonymous surveys are the best way to get honest response.

Hmmm, I would say you measure by having an open forum with your employees. Surveys can help too.

I measure it through my salary, work environment and other benefits. If I am receiving a high compensation for my job, I don't have to worry about my bills and expenses. Having a healthy work environment means a harmonious relationship with my fellow employees, thus a happy place for me to work too.

As an employee myself, I know that only few companies can really give their employees the satisfaction they need. In every organization, there will be those who will never feel compensated enough. But there are those who become so contented with what they are getting because they believe that it is not the only area that they are considering for staying.
