It threatens public safety and national security. But worst of all, the crime robs human beings of their freedom and their dignity. That's why we must pursue an end to the scourge of human trafficking

Just last week in Cape Town, South Africa, A human trafficking ring that lured victims by promising them high paying jobs and then subjected them to a life of prostitution and drugs was busted by the cops. Human trafficking is a nasty business and it is difficult to stop. I have worked with several NGOs that work directly with victims who were repatriated from different countries back to Mongolia. The scope and techniques that traffickers use to lure the victims are constantly evolving

I live in a small community, outside of L.A there have been missing reports of young HS and Middle school students reported missing in the general area, around every other block I see a missing person's sign and it's very frustrating. Could a handful of missing persons in the same vicinity be correlated with Human Trafficking?
