I am a Christian and I respect every religion. Also, I want to understand other people's perspective about Jesus for He is my Savior.
What do you know about Jesus? And Buddha?

Buddha was a man. The supernatural crap was added by people who have to make everything supernatural. But that’s all bs. He was a guy. There’s a part of me that thinks that Jesus was just a man that was blown out of proportion too.

He was a guy before he became Buddha. Buddha is not his name. His name was Siddhartha Gautama. After becoming a Buddha he is not just a guy anymore. Remember that. Don't just say what ever unless you know it well.

The fact that both Jesus and Buddha were just guys shows us that we are all Buddhas as well but we just haven’t woken up to it yet. But people like to make it more than it is. It’s very simple, very attainable. But we have to be willing to let go. This includes letting go of the ideas we have in our heads about what being a Buddha means. This is the point of when we say things like Namaste. It’s not just a cool way to say hi. It’s a way of saying that you recognize this awakened spark in everyone. Because we all have it. Even if it seems to us that right now we are, “just a guy”.
Buddha was one of the greatest preachers but his teachings are so different from the teachings of Jesus.. Buddha or Siddhartha was a Hindu before he attained enlightenment and became who he was. He rejected Hindu ideology and didn't believe in a God. Though Buddhist pray to him but he never claimed to be a God rather he was just a human being with great knowledge.

Sorry to hear that some so-called Buddhists pray to Buddha. As a Buddhist myself, I consider him to be a great philosopher with many great ideas on how to live a happier life and become enlightened.

Buddha Wisdom of Enlightenment will exist forever in the truth of the Dharma, and in the practice of the Dharama. He who sees merely my body does not truly see me. Only he who accepts my teaching truly sees me the Buddha.
Before Buddha was I AM.

Even if Buddha was born on December 25th, that would be totally irrelevant as Jesus was not actually born on that day.
