Why did some of the kids attend school but that one did not? Also if the child is in school why would she need childcare to send the child to school. What's wrong with her?

Thank heavens we have home schooling in America. I did it for 4 years for my son for many of the same reasons. He has a better education than most of his peers because of it. It is not for everyone but taking your child out into the world with you can stimulate far more learning than sitting in a classroom all day.

The money she’ll get from the sun for giving an exclusive interview about her toenails will pay that off 10 times.

No money for child care and fine her more because she can't afford so as to eliminate any remote chances of affording childcare.

And are the kids that are excluded for whatever reason by the schools being given the same chance? She at least knows where her child is and legislation or not there's plenty for a child to learn just through observation in a workplace, relevance for one thing.

I'm a single parent and my work takes me all over Britain. My kids don't miss school unless they are seriously ill. Yes, childcare is a problem. But lots of other parents face the same problem. Talk to other parents in the school playground and you'll soon find people will help you out in return for your help when they need it.

If it was due to childcare why weren't the other kids kept off school? I'm glad she got fined she seriously needs to take responsibility for her actions

As a parent it is your responsibility to ensure that your child is educated and properly cared for. It is completely unfair and unprofessional to take them to work, both on the child and your colleagues/clients. We all need to juggle our personal and professional commitments,"has been celebrity" or otherwise.

Courts quick enough to Fine a parent when their child has unauthorised absences but when a child is permanently excluded from school the Local authorities deem it acceptable for that child to be off school for 4 months with No educational provisions put in place-Can’t see why that parent can’t take the LA to court & Fine then!!!!!!!......
