In my humble opinion, it is not right for the state to deny his religious rights. We should still have the compassion no matter how heavy his crime. Especially that it was his last request.
Should the justice be really served this way?

What he did was wrong, justice was served and his sentence reflected the seriousness of the crime. What the state did was wrong and detracted from that justice.

No, I don't think he gave the person he killed any last request ...he did not deserve respect at all.

I wonder if you would be saying the same if that was your daughter, sister or niece, that he murdered.
He was executed. That was his punishment for his crime. Not to deny him of his religious rights. Two completely different issues.

The man is dying anyways. What's wrong in granting his last dying wish ? Think with an open mind.
I think people need to stop being hypocrites. The only reason you guys are able to think with" an open mind" and are worried about his rights, its because you are NOT putting yourselves in the shoes of the victim. To you guys, this is another case of religious intolerance but the reality is, he lost all rights and any right, the day he decided to rape and murder an innocent 15 year old. The only reason he randomly claimed to need an imam was to delay his own execution. And my question is, did he delay the rape and killing of that innocent 15 year old? This is a circus story, doesn't deserve publicity. He was a monster and was trying to fool the system and the judges saw right through that
I doubt seriously that there is an Iman in Alabama if so probably very few. He had the same choice any inmate had .

Did this POS give that little girl a last dying wish? NOT!!!!!!!!! So why do you think it deserves one?
It's the same God, just a different way of looking at it. God preaches compassion in any religion we all need that no matter what.

The bigger picture? How many in Iraq and Syria killed by American lust for oil?

Guess we can see why you're not a judge.

WRONG. Regardless whether or not someone has committed a crime. You have constitutional rights! Rapists, murderers, drug dealers, ALL HAVE CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS!
