We must remember that one determined person can make a significant difference, and that a small group of determined people can change the course of history
Over the years, I have established myself as a trusted, behind-the-scenes advisor to leading advocacy groups, donors and politicians at every level of government. My dedication to the political and legislative process led me to Washington, D.C. where I developed winning strategies for candidates, associations and government relations organizations. After Hurricane Katrina, I took a year-long sabbatical where I raised over $1.5 million to rebuild homes and small businesses in coastal Louisiana. I have also spearheaded and successfully managed advocacy campaigns to further education reforms and educate citizens about free market principles.

Biodiversity boosts ecosystem productivity where each species, no matter how small, all have an important role to play. For example, A larger number of plant species means a greater variety of crops. Greater species diversity ensures natural sustainability for all life forms. This is why we should pay attention to the importance of biodiversity.
What can you say about this?

How fabulously noble...fancy building islands for the environment and wildlife instead of missile bases! So proud of my Dutch heritage.

Since you seem to be the only person who has negative thoughts about creating islands to assist the environment, perhaps you could post something that backs up your claim that they are ‘no asset to anything ‘ instead of just chiding me.

Hmmm, it’s not all that nice...The islands are made of heavy polluted mud, dredged from different harbors. Now there are a lot more cormorants and they eat all the fish away. This area is fresh water since 1933, the area was still busy finding its new balance. Now this is a big interruption as we think we can make nature. Shouldn’t we care more for this freshwater basin? Maybe freshwater will be important in the following years...
A lot more has to be done to restore nature's diversity in The Netherlands!
