In my opinion, all countries should tax both property and inheritance more. Even though these taxes are unpopular but mostly they are efficient.
Do you think we really have to remake our tax to fit in the 21st century?

A flat tax of 33% on all and any income, including inheritance, lottery, interests, etc., no exception, and no exemption.

Indeed, since my humble beginnings, it was my lifelong dream to work my entire life just to leave everything I've accumulated to, not my kids, but the government.❤

What if your kids are a bunch of jerks who'd negatively impact society if they had large wealth? (see DJ trump and family)

This is why Carnegie and Cornell left the bulk of their estates to universities that they started and not to their offspring. No one is saying they have to leave the money to their children, just that they have the ability to because the government won't steal it in the name of"efficient" taxation.

People these days don't have anything to leave. They don't get to wait until they die to hand it over to the government, they have to hand it over the day they earn it.

It's not all or nothing. As it is the estate tax doesn't kick in until you're a millionaire... and even then it's not anywhere near everything above that bar.
I am amazed by how people just don't want to pay taxes. Does no one care about anyone else but themselves?

Theft = taxes. Not odd people are anti.

That is a lie. This fallacy has been debunked over and over and over. Taxation is not theft just because you don’t like it or want it to be theft. You don’t get to make that decision.
