It's a great idea, but I will never love mosquitoes after living in Hong Kong and being bitten so many times it looked like I had chicken pox!

I watched this whole thing expecting to hear an actual good reason to keep mosquitos on this planet. Not surprisingly, I didn't. Because there isn't.

While female mosquitoes are the ones that bite people and carry diseases. Male mosquitoes pollinate plants and amount for around 40% of total pollination. Since you can't keep breeding male mosquitoes without a female mosquito present, there is no way of getting rid of them without affecting pollination.

I got the wrong impression these mosquitos have super powers or something. Very disappointed. No point in letting the little vampire bite me

If oil people can fight fire with fire why not use mosquitoes to fight diseases carried by mosquitoes. Now can anyone do anything about the Scottish midge it seems to eat DEET for breakfast lunch and dinner lol
