As a special needs teacher, I don't have the power to make life “fair,” but I do have the power to make life joyful

I hold a postgraduate degree in Education & Learning Disabilities and enjoy making a positive difference in the lives of all the kids that I come into contact with. I am a strong believer of the fact that until one meets and interacts with a child with special needs, you will never have an idea of the depth of your strength, tenacity and resourcefulness - which I am reminded of on a daily basis. I have always had a heart for children, particularly those that require a bit more attention and believe that each little life that passes through my classroom door is a blessing – an unrepeatable miracle. In my spare time I enjoy reading, spending time with family and friends and volunteering both my time and finances to nearby charity organizations.

Though the British monarchy is one of the oldest institutions in the world, its youngest members are continually making strides to modernize its traditions whenever possible. Case in point: Prince Harry, who will soon be a father, has stated that he intends to take paternity leave.

Only 2 weeks? Take 2 months. 2 weeks is not proper paternity leave. Giving praise of removing stigma and leveling the playing field is complete bullshit unless the paternity leave is as much as the maternity leave. 2 weeks is like when anyone goes on vacation. Someone can cover for you and you can still keep your job. COME ON!

HE.IS. A. PRINCE.
I'm sure there's universal support for all princes worldwide taking paternity leave, but I fail to see how this benefits Women Everywhere, who incidentally, aren't married to princes.

I’m sure he has a very hard job and no servants at all to take care of the house and the child... Same for her... So it’s fully understandable why he’d take a paternity leave...

Taking a leave from what and to do what ???? What stigma is he breaking ? - the stigma that a man has to work to support his wife and the new baby ?!?! What a bizarre and dumb world we are living in.

2 weeks paternity leave, seriously? Things are just beginning to get rough, actually, after 2 weeks. He should stay longer.

Im loving how Harry turns out right now being a responsible father and loving husband to Megan. But to be fair, commoners have financial burden to tend to... i mean, have u heard of a news mentioning the Royals are having difficulty to pay electricity bill?
