Why fit in when you are born to stand out?

I have been the Administrator and Director of Little Star since July of 2013, but have been with this daycare since 2011 - where I began working with 4-year-olds. I have been in the Early Childhood field since 2007 and have been blessed to have had the opportunity to work with every age group. My husband and I have two young children, Leah. We are so blessed that God has chosen us to be their parents.

Students at a £37,000-a-year independent girls school were taught the wrong text for their exam. Pupils at Malvern St James Girls' School, in Worcestershire, realised the error while sitting the IGCSE English literature exam on 15 May.

Headmistress Olivera Raraty apologised"wholeheartedly" for the issue, which affected one section of the exam paper.

The exam board said the school could submit a request for special consideration of students' marks.

The Cambridge IGCSE is an international qualification.

According to The Independent, English literature students had been studying Spies by Michael Frayn but there were no exam questions about the book. The organisation's website explains that"special consideration" is a post-exam adjustment made to a candidate's mark to make allowances for adverse circumstances.

So this is how the rich pass exams, based on this article; the rich study an exam book! I thought learning was about to studying a subject and the exam is to show your understanding about the subject matter! humanities!

This is not news. Probably happens every year to one school or another. Happened in a school I worked in about 25 years ago -a London comprehensive school. The Head of English was devastated; beside herself. The exam board just dealt with it. It's life.

So what? This is exactly what happened during the brexit vote campaign... False arguments, then... Excellent school indeed! Perfectly prepared pupils to become ideal citizens.

I am sure the head of the school and head of department will be dismissed. I feel for those kids. Any exam state or private is stressful and must be based on what you studied. Mistakes like this are not acceptable. They are playing with children's future after all regardless if state or private!

Are state school still entered for the iGCSE? I thought they'd been considered too easy.

Regardless of the school attended, and what their parents paid for their education, these kids worked hard for an exam they, ultimately, were ill prepared for, through no fault of their own. I feel very sorry for each and everyone of them and hope they can focus on the rest of their upcoming exams.

Would some if you reply with such ridiculous comments if it was a state school. Not all kids that go to private schools come from rich families.
My Mum and Dad worked their socks off to send me to private school for which I was forever grateful and never forgotten what they gave up for me. If this had happened to me Icwould have been devastated

This happened me in 2000 when I sat my GCSEs... we studied Macbeth and Pygmalion.... opened paper... no questions about Pygmalion! We got marked on what we completed in exam and coursework. Only I went to a bog standard grammar school in N.I
