It's always a good day for a new tattoo.

I started my career in 2006 and quickly became known for my well designed tribal and geometric work and soft black and grey tattoos. I joined the Body Architects in 2010 and honed my skills with geometric tattoos quickly becoming one of the best geometric tattooers in the country. I specialise in intricate mandalas, decorative geometric and dotwork tattoos. I have worked in Europe and do repeat guest spots in Hamburg. I appreciate a good whiskey and takes my frustrations out on a drum kit.

Self-expression should never prevent you from getting a job. Attitudes towards tattoos in the wokplace have changed over the past few decades, and now it's far more common to see a range of professionals with body art and many more that have them in places you'd never see in the office.

Employment law in the UK, US and most other countries states that companies are allowed to ask employees to cover tattoos or piercings when at work under the dress code. However, if an individual has body art for a religious reason or if asking them to cover up could be viewed as discrimination, there may be a case for them to be allowed to display them.

I am a professional woman and I am getting my 6th tat on March 13th. Can't wait! I think Tattoos are a beautiful and personal art form and I am very much in love with the ones I have.

Tattoos have been an indicator of a person that is inclined to make poor decisions. This maybe changing but I’m not sure I want to take a chance when the stakes are high.

Funny how people e quick to judge healthcare professionals with a tattoo and say they would not want them to treat them when the health care professional would never consider judging or refusing to treat a patient with a tattoo !

If my dentist or physician had arms covered with tattoos I’d walk out of the office!

I wouldn’t care if my dentist or physician had tattoos, just as long as they can clean my teeth or save my life.

Men still prefer women without tats. True.

Tattoos are art. Some people have art hung in their homes, I have art on my body. Dont like them, dont look.

I personally do not understand tattoos. I have never owned an article of clothing that I would want to wear every single day for the rest of my life- no matter how beautiful they are. I am not judging those who do. I just don't see the attraction.

There was a good newspaper piece comparing celebrity females with tattoos and those without. Those without win hands down for good looks and femininity. I told my other half that if she ever got one, I'd ditch her. Tattoos are some sort of fashion statement, and if got, say, an eyebrow or nose ring then my girlfriend would probably ditch me too.

I am not sure I am fond of those on welfare or disabilities who have thousands of dollars worth on tattoos and their kids or themselves even, need dental care, proper food and clean clothes....

I've always found the most judgmental to be the little church going dears. A big hairy biker with tats are usually the better person. Just because you wouldn't want a tattoo yourself, doesn't make it wrong.
