If they want to remain anonymous then that's fine. It's actually better because you know they're not after the fame.

If you want to build a relationship with the people or person you're donating to then I wouldn't suggest it but if it's a once-off thing it doesn't matter

I wish celebrities would practise this more. They're always so ready to pose and post about every little contribution which makes it lose its essence

To be anonymous or not is the prerogative of the person who is donating.

Some people like their name to be published whenever they donate. I just find it very hypocritical. If you wanna help, there's no need to let the world know about it!

It's their money so if they want to be anonymous or have everyone know, that is their choice. I'm sure they have reasons for that.

It is really up to the donor. Some want to be known to inspire others and not to brag. So let's be slow in judging people for we don't really know their real intentions.

The charities would always love to acknowledge those who give donations but if they don't want to be mentioned then it's fine.

Yes, because donations are not given to show off. They are done to help make the less fortunate people's lives better.

I understand that it's a donation to help the poor and not to show off. But I know some people who are doing it with their names to raise awareness that we can help even if we are poor too.

I feel that if the intention is pure then acknowledgement is not really needed.

Being anonymous seems more sincere. If you wanna help then just do it. No need to be recognized for a good deed.

If they want to be recognized it is fine too.
