We should. We are as much a parent as the moms.

It would be good for dads to spend more time with our families especially if the wives had a tough pregnancy. We could help around the house.

Why should they? What will they do at home?

It would be nice if dads can bond with the baby. They also can help around the house while the moms are resting.

Sure, equality is a two-way street.

Dads should be there to help taking care of the new baby. Moms are exhausted after giving birth and the emotional support from their husbands is a good thing to have too.

Definitely. There should be longer days granted so the parents can share and enjoy the first few weeks of the child's life together and bond together as family

Yes. ever noticed how some companies are afraid to hire women in case they fall pregnant and have to take maternity leave? If men are granted the same amount of time off, it would reduce or completely eradicate that nonsense in the workplace because there would be equal"risk"

No need really. Dad's generally don't do much in the early years because the child just wants to be breast-fed and sleep majority of the time

Men play just as an important role as women in the foundation phase, they may not be breast feeding but they can at least assist with the house chores and nappies and stuff during that time
