As a special needs teacher, I don't have the power to make life “fair,” but I do have the power to make life joyful

I hold a postgraduate degree in Education & Learning Disabilities and enjoy making a positive difference in the lives of all the kids that I come into contact with. I am a strong believer of the fact that until one meets and interacts with a child with special needs, you will never have an idea of the depth of your strength, tenacity and resourcefulness - which I am reminded of on a daily basis. I have always had a heart for children, particularly those that require a bit more attention and believe that each little life that passes through my classroom door is a blessing – an unrepeatable miracle. In my spare time I enjoy reading, spending time with family and friends and volunteering both my time and finances to nearby charity organizations.

Should you give money to the beggars?

You are not really helping them you know. I don't give money especially if they are strong enough to work for money.

I do give to beggars. I just feel so bad that they're so down on their luck and a few bucks can at least help them.

How can they work if half of the population of the world is judgemental that can underestimate their abilities?

ABSOLUTELY NOT! I would much rather give them actual food or clothes because some of them spend it on useless things like drugs or alcohol. It's annoying

I'm naturally a very compassionate and giving person so I used to, until this one beggar told me the money I gave him wasn't enough. I gave him notes! not even coins. Imagine!

How would you know their circumstance? Why not help when you are able to do so? I don't get it.

I like to help these people. I give them food or coffee but not money.

Don't judge so quickly the beggars if they seek financial aid/needs
The problem of our society today is too judgemental and close-minded and thinking negative thoughts

I'm a softie and I couldn't resist giving them a few bucks. I just feel so bad seeing them down on their luck.

Sometimes I do. I would love to help them out but giving them food and a little amount are the only things that I can do right now.
