I hope that we can treat all kids equal regardless of their special circumstances.

I love my kids and I want to give them the tools to survive the real world.

Children are the future, I praise everyone of them and the great teachers and parents that raised them to believe in goodness.

Wanna prevent climate change? Go vegan. The UK was told they needed to drop meat consumption by 90% by the UN to prevent reaching our 2 degree rise. Animal agriculture is the main source of climate change and a vegan diet will decrease your carbon footprint by 75%.

With protesting they raise awareness. If they would do this after school hours it wouldn't have the same effect. They want the government to take action, as they are the future! You can complain about them missing school, but they (16 and 17 year olds) really understand that there is no planet B! Give them credit for what they are doing.. because what are you doing for the environment?

I've read a lot on this climate change the evidence and studies done conflict have irregularities and are inconsistent with details especially when government is involved and billions in taxes is being pulled with no real action plan other than making transport and home heating too expensive for ppl to afford. When inconsistent evidence government and billions of dollars are present I have major doubta.... None of the predictions of the last 50 years of global warming have come true.

How rude and mean . They are right. Apply themselves toward a future without action on climate change, it might not happen. Good for them.

You cannot stop climate change, sure we are making it worse but it happens naturally. Where I live in the Peak District in the UK there used to be tropical seas, the chalk hills were formed by coral. Then the climate changed and the glaciers came, then the climate changed and the climate warmed again, followed by glaciers etc etc. We are now living in a warm period of the planet but that will change yet again.

So proud of this young generation of Belgians. For doing what we didn't have the guts for. For learning about climate change at an early age and for trying to change their homes, streets, schools and governments. This Sunday we will join them and raise our voices together in our beautiful BXL. #youthforclimate #tousensemble

Note to the rest of the world. I know it looks bad now, but we'll be back on board on this most important issue. Just give us a little more time to get back on track.
