I partly agree with the sentiments shared and the possibility that this generation of parents is actually letting TV and the internet raise children - which can be both good and bad because they are then exposed to the harsh realities of life and can make their own decisions based on what they've seen and the respective consequences.

I agree. We are raising weaker kids. Case and point, parents get angry at the teacher when the kids get low grades. Since when was it their fault?! We shouldn't keep our kids in a bubble because they will be in for a rude awakening when they step into the real world. Life is hard. You need to raise tougher kids.
