Gelong Thubten, the Tibetan Buddhist Monk who trained the movie cast of Dr. Strange, reveals the key to happiness and the biggest misconceptions about pain, bliss, and meditation. At 21 years old, Gelong Thubten joined the Kagyu Samye Tibetan Monastery in search of freedom from physical and emotional suffering. But he found that his search of bliss through meditation only left him feeling disappointed and depressed. “When we’re searching for that experience,” Gelong says, “we’re telling ourselves that we don’t have it. As Thubten explains, when we meditate in order to achieve happiness we are implicitly admitting our own sense of lack, of insufficiency... of having to still 'do something' that is an outward practice.
Above all, we meditate in order to 'get rid' of stuff that bothers us. This is a mistake.

I got the answer from the video too! It's absolutely true and released my pain in a second, and I can sleep well over the night.

Really helpful! I drove deep into Love while he was talking, I think he gave me something very important.
Intention on loving the world, other beings. That intention if felt gives you the possibility to change really.
I got amazed how fast a bad sensation became a loving smile into seconds of deep feeling. Amazing!
