It always seems impossible until it is done

For the past 25 years I have been working in relatively high-pressure roles where deadlines and bottom lines are the measure of success and heavy burdens of responsibility are the norm. I am living testament of the notion that if you do what you love, you’ll never have to work a day in your life so the past two decades have been smooth sailing for me. Moreover, I believe in striking a balance between people and the actual job so I always make a point of interacting with the team, this is a necessary characteristic when dealing with multi-dimensional and collaborative teams. It’s important to remain well connected and to keep your finger on the pulse of the industry. I studied Business Management, majoring in Finance and Accounting. I am constantly attending workshops and seminars to stay up to date with the latest industry trends and developments.

Somewhere in the Rockies, in the roughly 1,000 miles between Santa Fe, New Mexico, and the Canadian border, may be a treasure chest worth millions. The man who claims to have hidden the fortune back in 2010 is Forrest Fenn, now 87, a former Vietnam fighter pilot and art dealer.

Fenn estimates that as many as 350,000 people have gone hunting for the treasure, he tells CNBC Make It, adding that there is no way of knowing whether anyone has actually gotten close."It could be found soon or 1,000 years from now," he says."No one knows where that treasure chest is but me," Fenn told NPR in 2016. That includes his wife."If I die tomorrow, the knowledge of that location goes in the coffin with me."https://www.cnbc.com/2018/04/17/millionaire-forrest-fenn-hid-treasure-in-the-rockies-and-left-a-clue.html

He buried the treasure in 2010 and launched the hunt years later. And this is to give hope to people during the Great Recession.

I don't think those who really need it have the luxury to take the time and resources off to go look for it.

Plot twist: The journey in the Rockies is the real treasure he wanted you to find. Seriously though, millionaires are fucking off with money that could feed every starving child in the Rockies.

The fun thing? Poor people can't really afford all the expenses of treasure hunting. So, who would he really be helping anyway?
